My Story

I’m a senior product designer who loves untangling complexity.

Right now, I lead UX strategy for AWS’s internal sales and planning platforms—systems used daily by 60,000+ field sellers, operators, and leaders to understand customers, make decisions, and move the business forward. My work sits at the intersection of data, intuition, and human judgment, with a focus on turning messy, ambiguous problem spaces into clear, trustworthy experiences.

My path here wasn’t linear. I grew up in Changde, China and moved to the U.S. as a teenager, which shaped how I see systems, culture, and communication. I studied Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech, then began my career as a QA engineer on Marriott’s mobile app team. While testing features, I became fascinated not with whether something worked—but with why it worked (or didn’t) for people. That curiosity pulled me into UX design.

Since then, I’ve designed consumer-facing products used by millions, internal platforms supporting 700,000+ global employees, and enterprise systems that power planning and customer strategy at massive scale. Across all of it, I bring a strong point of view: great products earn trust by being clear, humane, and intentional.

Outside of work, I’m usually chasing after my two young boys, reading a romance fantasy novel, or tending to my ever-growing collection of plants. I value thoughtfulness, craft, and work that genuinely helps people.
